I’m Vera McGrath, a licensed therapist offering individual therapy with a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach. I specialize in working with high-functioning adults, parents, and professionals who may look like they are “doing fine” on the outside - but are struggling silently with anxiety, grief, relationship patterns, or past unresolved trauma.

I use evidenced-based methods including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help client process trauma and emotional overwhelm, gently and effectively. Whether you are carrying the weight of childhood wounds, parenting challenges, or generational stress, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I welcome men and women of all backgrounds. My practice is especially attuned to the needs of those who haven’t always felt represented in traditional therapy spaces - including people of color, immigrants, and professionals balancing cultural expectation with personal growth.
